It’s amazing to examine the front of a mandolin up close. Admiring how precise the pick guard and bridge placement are along with the perfectly carved F-hole makes me so appreciate the art of creating musical instruments!
This is the fourth photo in a series of macro photography studies focusing on the beauty of the wood, workings, and craftsmanship of a beautifully made mandolin. Not only is this instrument a wonderful photography subject, but it is a well loved instrument in my collection that regularly is played.
