Endless Fretboard is an image I took from around the 12th fret of my mandolin toward the headstock. The angle and lighting make it look like a musical highway that never ends!
This is the second photo in a series of macro photography studies focusing on the beauty of the wood, workings, and craftsmanship of a beautifully made mandolin. Not only is this instrument a wonderful photography subject, but it is a well loved instrument in my collection that regularly is played.
Each wrap is made with finely textured, artist-grade cotton substrate which helps reproduce the image in outstanding clarity and detail. These closed back canvases are built with a patented, solid support face and are excellent for indoor use.
